FX Series
Mitsubishi's FX PLC Series is a flexible and extensive line of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that provides distinctive and compatible solutions for a wide variety of applications and control requirements. It consists of the FX1S CPU, the FX1N range, which is modular, the FX3U, which is strong, and the FX3G, which is modern and dynamic. Every series is simply compatible with the others while providing distinctive features and capabilities. The FX PLC units are designed to be flexible and customizable, enabling users to add and alter particular features as necessary, turning each one into a unique PLC. The series uses a simple programming idea that condenses complicated jobs into a single command. The primary base unit, which may be installed directly with screws or on a DIN rail, combines the CPU, I/O, and power supply into one small device. The FX PLC series has memory cassette ports hidden behind the detachable front cover, adapter units or "ADP" units for simple integration, and optional connection boards in the USB, RS232C, RS422, and RS485 formats. The HMI connection may also be made via the programming port. Each model in the series has a different power supply need, ranging from 100 to 240V AC/24V DC for the FX1S, 100 to 240V AC/12 to 24V DC for the FX1N, 100 to 240V AC for the FX3G, and 100 to 240V AC/24V DC for the FX3U. The FXUC version need 24V DC to operate. With 2k steps for FX1S, 8k steps for FX1N, 32k steps for FX3G, 64k steps for FX3U, and 64k steps for FXUC, the PLC program memory capacity likewise changes.
