The PowerFlex 755 product series is an Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation product series. This series includes a vast array of drives. Some of these drives combine the performance of variable frequency drives with the benefits of on-machine solutions. The drives featured in the PowerFlex 755 product series can be mounted on or near a machine, making them a versatile and reliable choice for various applications. Applications that can take serious advantage of these drives include material handling, mining, refining, and so on. PowerFlex 755 AC drives are protected via an IP00/IP20 NEMA/UL open-type enclosure or an IP54 NEMA/UL type 12 enclosure. In addition, some of the drives featured in the PowerFlex 755 product series can be mounted via the use of a mounting flange. These drives operate via an input voltage that ranges from 200 volts AC to 690 volts AC. Additionally, PowerFlex 755 AC drives have a power rating that ranges from 0.37 kilowatts to 1500 kilowatts. Furthermore, the current rating of these PowerFlex 755 drives ranges from 1.7 amperes to 2330 amperes. The AC drives of the PowerFlex 755 product series include a built-in dual-port Ethernet/IP port for communications with other devices. PowerFlex 755 drives also include a wide variety of features. These features include Volts per Hertz Control, FORCE vector control, permanent magnet motor control, and sensorless vector control. Furthermore, these drives include an LCD interface that is typically used by the operator to input commands, data, and so on. This interface is also used for programming and configuring the drives.
