Dyson Unveils Robot Vacuum Cleaner!
I wrote about Dyson teasing what looked like a robot vacuum cleaner last week here but now the company has officially announced the Dyson 360 Eye.
The 360 Eye is the product of $47 million in research and development and took an incredible 16 years to create!
Founder of the company, James Dyson, says, “Most robotic vacuum cleaners don’t see their environment, have little suction, and don’t clean properly. They are gimmicks. Vision, combined with our high-speed digital motor and cyclone technology, is the key to achieving a high-performing robot vacuum — a genuine labor-saving device.”
Dyson’s 360 Eye name represents the functionality of the device which is able to take in a 360-degree panoramic view of a room and utilizes infrared sensors to navigate its way around.
The robot vacuum features a V2 digital motor powering what the Dyson refers to as “Radial Root Cyclone” technology to separate dust and dirt.
The 360 Eye comes equipped with tank tracks to handle various types of terrain and floors, much better than similar products on the market.
