GE / IP FANUC Series 90/30 In Stock
Every snowy winter finds a large group of people who wish there was some machine that could shovel snow for them. That dream has come to be a little known reality. The days of shoveling snow from driveways and sidewalks could be over. Kids would jump at the chance to “shovel” snow.
A few years ago, some DIY types created a snowplow robot that they refer to as Roboplow. The pneumatic shovel is multi-directional. It can be moved left, right, up, or down. The plow sits on six wheels that are 13 inch tiller tires. The robot has a video camera that rotates on the top. There are lights on the invention that allows it to be used at night.
The DIYers made the invention around 2010. It is relatively surprising that the idea took so long. At that time, the blade was 50 inches wide and had 10 LED lamps on it. Newer versions have blades that are 52 inches and 80 watt headlights. This device will make light work of even the longest paths. It has six motors that work at 12 RPM. The chassis is aluminum. Remote control from the cozy inside is used maneuver the snowplow.
