The Omron CJ2M-CPU15 unit is a CJ2M series CPU unit made for applications in an Omron PLC system that features a large number of I/O points. The CJ2M-CPU15 CPU can support 40 I/O units or 2560 I/O points at a time, and it can host a maximum of 3 expansion racks with I/O units installed on them. Its typical current consumption rating is 0.5 Amps at a voltage rating of 5 Volts. The CJ2M-CPU15 CPU can store up to 160K words of data in its data memory, and it can store up to 60K steps of programs. The CJ2M-CPU15 CPU’s 160K words of data memory include 32K DM words and 32K EM words x 4 banks. This CPU unit meets the UC1 standard and the CE standard. The CJ2M-CPU15 CPU unit can support an end cover, and its maximum weight is 130 g with the end cover. It is about 31 millimeters wide. This CPU can withstand low levels of vibration and shocks and small amounts of dust and moisture when it operates, but it should not be exposed to large amounts of water, dirt, and other pollutants which could damage it. The CJ2M-CPU15 CPU should also not be subjected to frequent or high levels of vibration or shocks that could damage it or cause malfunctioning.
