The XWT-OD16-1 output unit was manufactured by Omron as an output expansion unit. This unit is designed to expand the output capabilities of compatible Omron digital I/O slave units, such as the Omron CRT1-ID16(-1), CRT1-OD16(-1), CRT1-ROS16, or CRT1-ROF16 slave units. The primary purpose of the XWT-OD16-1 unit is to provide additional output channels to a slave unit for controlling various devices or components in programmable controller systems. It offers 16 PNP (positive-negative-positive) outputs for connecting to and controlling external devices. These outputs have a rated output current of 0.5 A per output. The XWT-OD16-1 expansion unit also supports a common output current rating of 4.0 A per common. The extension outputs are equipped with screw terminals for easy and secure wiring. The unit is designed for easy installation and for mounting on a DIN rail. It features a compact and lightweight design, and it weighs only 0.12 kgs. The XWT-OD16-1 unit has a residual voltage rating of 1.2 V maximum, ensuring minimal voltage drop across the outputs. The leakage current rating is 0.1 mA maximum, indicating that there is low current leakage when the outputs are in the OFF state.
