The XW2B-40J6-2B is a 40-position terminal block that is commonly used to connect and distribute power or signals in electrical and electronic systems. It is a slim DIN rail mount terminal block with 35% less mounting area than conventional 40-pole XW2B units. The terminal block includes a device to prevent terminal screw fallout and can fit round or forked crimp terminals. It can be screwed or DIN rail mounted. The terminal block contains a one-of-a-kind DIN rail lock that can keep the DIN rail open during attachment and removal. The terminal cover can be locked open for convenient access to the terminals. To simplify counting terminal numbers, the screw terminals are organized in groups of five by color. Its operational temperature ranges between -25 and 60 degrees Celsius, and it has an IP65-protected casing, which means it is resistant to dust and water jets. It also has a 0.03 milliohm contact resistance, a 100-megohm insulation resistance, and a dielectric strength of 1500 volts. The terminal size ranges from 0.14 to 1.5 mm2, and the terminal colors are black, red, blue, yellow, green, brown, and white. It measures 100 x 45 x 11 mm (L x W x H) and weighs 0.1 kilograms. The Omron XW2B-40J6-2B terminal block has a power rating of 30 amps at 250VAC or 20 amps at 380VAC. This indicates that the terminal block is capable of carrying up to 30 amps of current at 250 volts alternating current (VAC) or 20 amps of current at 380 volts alternating current (VAC).
