The F400-C10E controller is a vision mate controller manufactured by the Omron Automation and Safety company. It is used for visual inspection and control applications. It supports the connection of a single camera for image processing. The resolution is 512 x 484 pixels (H x V) with a color pickup functionality. It can store up to 16 filtered monochrome images and supports a maximum of 16 scenes. The F400-C10E has an image memory function, enabling efficient retrieval of previously captured images. Additionally, it offers two operation methods: color pickup or color filtering, providing flexibility for specific application requirements. It can extract up to 8 colors and uses various processing methods such as binary gravity, axis angle, search, and edge position detection. The F400-C10E controller offers position compensation in the X, Y, and other directions for enhanced accuracy in vision inspection tasks. Moreover, it supports comprehensive detection capabilities with up to 16 regions per scene. The F400-C10E features various operation functions, including arithmetic operations, distance calculations, angle measurements, and maximum and minimum values evaluation. Furthermore, it provides overall judgment and individual region-based judgments, and it can output measurement and operation data based on these judgments. Connectivity options include a monitor interface and an RS-232C interface. The controller also features parallel I/O with 11 inputs and 21 outputs, and it supports control I/O points. The F400-C10E operates with an NPN input/output type, and it operates on a power supply voltage rating of 24 Volts DC (+10%/-15%) and consuming 0.6 A of maximum current.
