The Omron NT31-ST121B-EV1 programmable terminal is a terminal with a touchscreen that can control industrial machine systems. The touchscreen on the terminal is 5.7 inches wide, and it displays data in black and white monochrome graphics. The NT31-ST121B-EV1 programmable terminal has a screen resolution of 320 dots horizontally x 240 dots vertically. In its default state, the NT31-ST121B-EV1 programmable terminal supports Memory Link, Host Link, and NT Link communication methods. It can support several additional communication methods if the exclusive system programs for these communication methods are installed. The NT31-ST121B-EV1 programmable terminal’s additional communication method options include a Siemens communication method, a GE communication method, an AB communication method, a Mitsubishi A communication method, and a Mitsubishi FX communication method. The NT31-ST121B-EV1 programmable terminal’s display is an STN LCD that includes a backlight. The display screen’s minimum life expectancy rating is 50,000 hours. The display contrast is adjustable within approximately 100 levels. The NT31-ST121B-EV1 programmable terminal comes with a “POWER” LED and a “RUN” LED. The “POWER” LED is green and it illuminates when power is supplied to the NT31-ST121B-EV1 programmable terminal. The “RUN” LED can illuminate in different colors in different situations. It glows green when the terminal is running normally, it flashes in green when the memory unit’s automatic transmission process is being executed and when there is a memory unit transmission error, it glows orange when the battery voltage is low during operation, and it glows red when the battery voltage is low when the terminal is stopped. The operating force rating for the NT31-ST121B-EV1 terminal’s touch panel is 1 N minimum.
