The CS1H-CPU64H unit is a central processing unit (CPU) manufactured by Omron and used in industrial Omron CS-series automation systems. This CPU unit is intended to provide advanced processing power, comprehensive programming flexibility, and robust communication capabilities in a system. The CS1H-CPU64H CPU can be programmed to serve as an all-encompassing processor for a wide range of automation applications in a programmable controller (PC) system. It is able to easily handle complex control tasks thanks to its considerable program capacity and its data memory capacity. Its program capacity rating is 30K steps of programs. Additionally, its data memory capacity is 64K words of combined data memory and extended data memory. The CS1H-CPU64H CPU’s processing speed for ladder instructions is 0.02 microseconds. This CPU unit supports scalability and a large number of input/output bits. The CS1H-CPU64H CPU can support 5120 total I/O bits, and it can host 7 expansion racks when it is used in applications that require a large number of I/O modules and other hardware modules. Expansion racks allow the CPU to support a significantly higher number of applications that it otherwise could. The CS1H-CPU64H CPU supports up to 80 modules when it supports 7 expansion racks. It has a USB port and an RS-232C port built into it. The USB port can connect the CS1H-CPU64H CPU to peripheral devices. The CS1H-CPU64H CPU can be mounted on a backplane when it is mounted in an Omron PC system. This CPU is also compatible with optional memory cards and optional inner boards that can support functions such as serial communications.
