The CS1G-CPU45H is a CPU unit for Omron CS series programmable controllers, and it is designed for a range of industrial control applications. The CS1G-CPU45H CPU can be used in Omron CS series programmable controllers that support dual CPUs. In these controllers, a fault in one CPU leads to automatic switchover to the backup CPU to enable continuous operation. The CS1G-CPU45H CPU unit, as well as the power supply and the communication units in a CS series controller, can be replaced while the system is in operation.. Structured programming is used for CS1G-CPU45H CPU configuration and supports both multitask and variable programming. The CS1G-CPU45H CPU can support 60K steps of program data. This CPU module also comes with 128K words of data memory capacity, and this capacity includes its extended data memory capacity as well as its standard data memory capacity. The CS1G-CPU45H CPU can also accommodate memory boards that expand its memory capacity. It can also support serial communication boards for applications requiring serial communication. The total number of I/O bits supported by the CS1G-CPU45H CPU module is 5120 I/O bits. The ladder instruction processing speed of the CPU is 0.4 microseconds. The built-in communications ports on the unit include a peripheral port and a RS-232C port. The approximate weight of the CS1G-CPU45H CPU unit is 350 grams. This CPU unit can be used in a large-scale programmable controller because it supports as many as 7 expansion racks. These racks can host I/O modules and other modules that expand the programmable controller’s functionalities.
