The CQM1H-CTB41 high-speed counter board by Omron Automation offers advanced pulse input counting and comparison features and functionality. The board supports four pulse inputs, labeled as Ports 1 to 4, capable of counting high-speed pulses ranging from 50 to 500 kHz. It provides input voltage switching for phases A, B, and Z and uses a 24 V DC±10% RS-422A line driver for reliable signal transmission. The CQM1H-CTB41 offers three input modes: Differential Phase Mode (1x/2x/4x), Up/Down Mode, and Pulse/Direction Mode. These modes allow for flexible pulse counting configurations to suit different application requirements. In terms of comparison operation, the board compares the Present Value (PV) of the high-speed counter with a specified target value or a specified range. When a match or range condition is met, the board stores the corresponding bit pattern from the comparison table in internal and external output bits. The board supports four external outputs, activated when the target value is matched or when a range comparison condition is satisfied. It's important to note that the CQM1H-CTB41 does not provide high-speed counter interrupts but focuses on comparing the PV to target values or ranges and producing internal and external bit outputs accordingly. The board can be installed in either slot 1 (left slot) or slot 2 (right slot) of the CQM1H-CPU51/61 CPU Unit, allowing for simultaneous use of both slots. It provides two connectors (CN1 and CN2) for high-speed pulse inputs, with CN1 designated for inputs 1 and 2 and CN2 for inputs 3 and 4.
