Omron manufactured the CQM1-TC001 module is a temperature controller unit aligned to the CQM1H series with a heater burnout alert; this temperature control unit series is available with either 4-loop or 2-loop temperature control, and units with 2-loop temperature control. Its temperature hysteresis is 0.8 °C/°F, and the proportional band is 40.0 °C/°F. This temperature controller unit has a derivative time of 240 seconds, the integral time is 40 seconds, and the sampling time is one second. It features a thermocouple input featuring two types of thermocouple input sensors, and the types 'J' and 'K' are the two sensor types. The set point ranges of both input sensors are -100-to-1,500 degrees Fahrenheit (100 to 850 degrees Centigrade) for the J type and -300-to-2,300 degrees Fahrenheit (200 to 1,300 degrees Centigrade) for the K type. The CQM1-TC001 can operate with one or two control loops. The temperature control module's output form is an NPN output transistor-based, and the output voltage is 24 volts DC, with a current of 100 milliamps (mA). At 24 volts DC, the module's internal current consumption is 220 milliamps (mA). The external supply voltage of the CQM1-TC001 controller module was 24 volts DC, and the current was set to a minimum of 15 milliamps (mA). By relaying commands from the PLC, the CQM1-TC001 can have parameters set and data conned for this controller, the users can be conveyed via the "Transfer I/O Command" instruction, which can be added to a CQM1H-type CPU unit. The innovative feed-forward circuitry in the CQM1-TC001 temperature controller ensures that temperatures remain steady and controlled.
