This CQM1-OA221 output module is part of the CQM1 series of output modules. This module has gained widespread use in industrial automation; it offers additional output points for the control of external devices in applications related to industrial automation. The CQM1 is a small, high-speed PC with a CPU unit, power supply unit, and I/O units that give up to 256 total I/O points; this CQM1-OA221 has a total of 8 TRIAC output channels. These components lock together on the sides, allowing for simple modifications in the PC's size and capacity. The rack-less modular design of the CQM1H allows you to personalize your control system by adding "inner boards" for advanced functionality as well as specialized I/O and communications components. The CQM1-based PLC system has the most versatility of any PLC system in its class. It has four distinct base CPUs to choose from, it features built-in DC inputs; grows up to 512 points; no extra backplane is required; and its inner Boards allow "customized" CPU configuration. For communication with third-party serial devices, a serial communications inner board includes a protocol macro capability. It also supports all CQM1 I/O and specialized I/O modules, both existing and new. Optional memory from the CQM1 series cassettes allows for the backup of sensitive data and includes a real-time clock. Its ControllerLink network has 32 nodes and transfers 8 K word data packets at up to 2 megabits per second (Mbps). PID, floating point math, protocol macro instructions, and other features are included in the Advanced instruction set. This product line provides program memory of up to 15.2 words
