The CQM1-LK501 is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) module from Omron. It is designed for effective data transfer in various industrial applications. It has an RS-485 interface, enabling data transmission at a fast speed and with high reliability. The communication can take place at a rapid and productive pace thanks to the transmission speed, which is rated at 187.5k bps. The module supports a maximum transmission distance of 200 meters, allowing greater flexibility in the system structure. It uses a mode of communication known as a two-wire semi-duplex, which enables data flow in both directions with only a single pair of wires. A cable with two cores is necessary for the transmission path, which results in a straightforward and economical wiring solution. The module's external operating output may safely handle a maximum current of 2 Amps, configured as a G6D SPST-NO relay, and features an external operating output. It provides 64 input/output points, enabling versatile connection with various sensors and devices.
