Omron manufactured CJ1W-NC214 motion control module is part of the CJ1W (CJ) series of controller units and it provides motion control capabilities with unit synchronization and even higher speed. It is capable to be mounted on a CJ-series CPU rack or a CJ-series expansion rack, and the maximum number of units that can be housed in a single rack is 5 units. This series combines dependable technology with an expanded selection of central processing units (CPUs), higher speed and memory, and an expanded selection of connection ports. The CJ2 family gives a substantial opportunity for innovation while also cutting expenses both now and in the future, making it an easy option to go with. When additional speed and memory are required, it offers greater quality control and traceability. It has an external power supply voltage ranging from 21.6 VDC — 26.4 VDC, and its maximum internal current usage is 270 milliamps (Ma0 when operating at 5 VDC. This module provides several different types of pulse output techniques including forward/reverse direction pulse output, phase difference pulse output, and merging pulse and direction output. Open-loop control via pulse train output is one of the control methods that the CJ1W-NC214 provides. There are a total of two axes that can be controlled with this unit. This control initiates and terminates the operations of numerous axes all at once and establishes a direct connection between the starting position and the destination position of each axis. It is possible to do linear interpolation on up to four axes.
