The CJ1W-ID233 is an Omron high-speed digital input module. This input module allows PCs to receive ON/OFF signals from external control devices. Each of the 32 inputs on the module has a 24 Volts DC nominal voltage rating, and each input supports voltages ranging from 20.4 to 26.4 Volts DC. The input impedance rating is 5.6 kilo ohms and the typical input current that each input can sink is 4.1 milliamps. The module has 4 COM terminals. The dimensions of the module are 90 x 20 x 83.6 millimeters. The weight of the input module is about 70 grams. The CJ1W-ID233 module needs an MIL connector for external connections. This MIL connector is not supplied with the module and must be ordered as a separate item. The ON response time for the module is 8 milliseconds maximum. The OFF response time for the digital input module is also 8 milliseconds maximum. The CJ1W-ID233 module has PNP or NPN types of inputs. A digital filter on the module can reduce the effects of external noise. The CJ1W-ID233 module is compatible with multiple terminal block conversion models, which make it easy to connect the module to a wide range of external devices. The external voltage supply requirement of the CJ1W-ID233 digital input module is 5 Volts DC. The internal current consumption rating of the module is 200 milliamps.
