The C500-RM001-PV1 interface module is an Omron SYSMAC interface module that was designed to be used as a remote master module. It can control slave modules remotely in an Omron SYSMAC programmable controller in a variety of industrial applications. When the C500-RM001-PV1 remote master interface module is installed, it can be installed in either the CPU rack or a local expansion rack in the Omron SYSMAC programmable controller. A single Omron SYSMAC programmable controller can host several remote I/O systems like the system that the C500-RM001-PV1 remote master interface module is used in. The C500-RM001-PV1 remote master interface module expands the capabilities of the SYSMAC programmable controller. The module’s typical current consumption rating during operation is about 0.2 Amps. It uses an optical fiber type of cable to make its connections. The C500-RM001-PV1 remote master interface module can operate safely in an environment whose atmosphere is free of pollutants such as direct sunlight, dust, salt, metal filings, oil, water, condensation, chemicals, corrosive gasses, extreme temperatures, and frequent or abrupt temperature changes. These pollutants may cause the C500-RM001-PV1 remote master interface interface module to malfunction, or they may damage it. The C500-RM001-PV1 remote master module was designed to operate in a temperature range between 0 degrees Celsius and 55 degrees Celsius. It was also designed to operate in a relative humidity range between 35% and 85% with no condensation. The C500-RM001-PV1 remote master interface module can tolerate about 10 G of maximum shock from the X direction, Y, direction, or Z direction during operation.
