The C200HW-COM04-V1 board is a communication board for Omron programmable controllers. The board is compatible with controllers such as the Omron C200HX/C200HG/C200HE programmable controllers. The C200HW-COM04-V1 communication board requires 5 Volts DC of external power and draws 0.1 Amps of current at 5 Volts DC. One plug and one hood are standard accessories for this communication board. The RS-232C interface on the C200HW-COM04-V1 communication board supports half duplex communication with start-stop synchronization, a point to point transmission method, 15 meters of maximum transmission distance, and baud rates ranging from 1200 to 19,200 bps. The RS-232C interface can be used for computer communication. The C200HW-COM04-V1 communication board can connect to SYSMAC link devices, SYSMAC net devices, controller link devices, and Ethernet cards. This communication board also supports a protocol macro function. The C200HW-COM04-V1 communication board is compatible with several of the Omron CPU modules that are used in Omron programmable controllers, and it is connected to the CPU of the programmable controller that it is installed in. It expands the communication options that its host CPU module can support. Although the C200HW-COM04-V1 communication board is designed for use in standard industrial locations, it will operate most reliably in a location where it will not be exposed to frequent shocks or vibrations, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, corrosive chemicals, or to high levels of condensation or other sources of fluids.
