Omron manufactured the C200HW-COM04-E communication board for controllers in the SYSMAC C200 series. It is an essential device for creating communication channels between different devices in an automated control system. The C200HW-COM04-E board can be integrated seamlessly with SYSMAC controllers, SYSMAC Net units, PCs, and Ethernet card units because it supports a SYSMAC Link/Net option. The C200HW-COM04-E communication port comes with a single RS-232C port and a PMF or protocol macro function for effective data transfers and communication control. Indicator lights on the C200HW-COM04-E communication board display status information for the users. The "RDY" indicator means the board is ready for usage. A hardware issue is indicated by the light not being illuminated, and a setting mistake is indicated by the light flashing. When the light is on, the circuit board is prepared for routine use. The "COMA" light flashes to signify active communication. It flashes to indicate active communication through Port A when that port is in use. The C200HW-COM04-E communication board makes it easy to interface C200 CPUs with peripheral devices through its integrated protocol macro functionality. It provides an automated mechanism for managing data transport and eliminates the need for ASCII/BASIC modules and intricate programming techniques. The C200HW-COM04-E board also supports 7 basic communications sequences that are easily customizable.
