The C200H-RM001-P is a product type of a Remote Master Module. It has been designed and assembled by Omron Automation and Safety. This remote master module is crucial to fiber-optic remote I/O systems since it filters out electrical interference to keep signals clear over long distances. It is worth noting that the C200H-RM001-P master module is highly compatible with CS1, C200H, and C200H Alpha system (modules) by the manufacturer, allowing for connections to slave racks or distant I/O relay or transistor blocks. Therefore, it can use Manchester coding for efficient data transfer over a half-duplex connection. In addition, the module may be linked via an RS-485 connection technique and all-plastic or hard plastic-clad fiber media can be used for the communication cables. Maximum transmission distances are limited by the core material of the fiber-optic cables, with all-plastic fiber (APF) allowing for transmissions up to 20 meters and hard plastic clad fiber (HPCF) allowing for transmissions up to 200 meters. Up to 512 words of data transfer may be handled by the C200H-RM001-P, which allows for a maximum of 32 linked nodes. Checks for preventing errors include the Manchester code check, the frame length check, and the parity check. This remote master module uses a maximum of 512 words of memory and draws no more than 0.2 A while supporting up to 512 I/O points in operation. In addition, it supports up to 32 slaves per master. Thus, it can easily scale to meet the needs of a wide range of industries.
