The C200H-NC112 is a single-axis position control unit from Omron. It is directly connectable to a servo motor driver or to a stepping type of motor driver. A DIP switch on the back panel can be used to configure the C200H-NC112 unit. LED indicators on the front panel allow users to quickly determine the C200H-NC112 unit’s operating status. When used as part of an open-loop control system, the C200H-NC112 position control unit uses pulse train outputs to control a motor’s angle of rotation. Feedback is used to compensate between the desired and current position values when the control unit is used as part of a closed loop control system. It supports speeds of 1 to 250,000 pulses per second (pps). The C200H-NC112 unit can perform 20 positioning actions. The unit’s acceleration and deceleration range is 2 to 2000 pps, and its backlash compensation range is 0 to 9,999 pulses. The C200H-NC112 unit’s manual operation mode supports high-speed jog, low-speed jog and inch commands. The dimensions of the C200H-NC112 position control unit are 130 x 35 x 100.5 millimeters. The maximum weight of the unit, excluding connectors, is 400 grams. The electrical input specifications for the C200H-NC112 unit include 12 to 24 Volts DC of voltage, 5 milliamps of current at 12 Volts DC and 11 milliamps of current at 24 Volts DC, 10.2 Volts DC of ON voltage, 3 Volts DC of OFF voltage, 1 millisecond of ON response time, and 1 millisecond of OFF response time.
