The C200H-MR431 is a CMOS-RAM memory module that was manufactured by Omron for applications with Programmable Controllers (PLCs). Within an Omron C200H PLC, it provides additional RAM for the storage and management of data. The C200H-MR431 module’s RAM capacity is 4K words. Its 4K-word capacity includes 3K words of UM or ladder program area memory and 1K words of DM or fixed DM area memory. The C200H-MR431 memory module also has a maximum program size rating of 2878 words. This module also comes with an auxiliary battery that helps maintain data integrity during power disruptions. The C200H-MR431 memory module can retain its data for up to approximately 5 years at an ambient temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. System data can be randomly written to or read from this memory module when it is powered on, but it can only retain its data with the assistance of its backup battery when it is powered off. The C200H-MR431 module was developed for installation in a C200H series PLC rack alongside a variety of other C200H PLC system components. This module supports hot-swappable installation in specific systems, and this option permits the modification or replacement of the module without requiring a complete system shutdown. This hot-swap feature also supports the continuous functioning of the whole PLC system, reducing system downtime and increasing overall productivity. The C200H-MR431 module can operate properly within a wide temperature range (0 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius) and it can withstand storage temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius. The C200H-MR431 memory module has a write-enable switch and a mode-selector switch.
