Omron's C200H-LK202 host link unit is a linking device designed to simplify communication between Omron PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and external devices. This host link module is compact, durable, reliable, and efficient. Two host link units like the C200H-LK202 unit can be connected to the same PLC. The C200H-LK202 host link module has one RS-422 communication port, and it supports dependable data transmissions with both half-duplex or full-duplex communication options. Users can choose between 1 and 2 stop bits when configuring the stop bits for the host link unit. The C200H-LK202 host link unit supports both even and odd parity options for error checks. Additionally, the module offers versatility in its data representation by supporting ASCII (7 bits) or JIS (8 bits) data bit formats. This enables compatibility with a broad range of devices and protocols and easy integration into various industrial networks. The C200H-LK202 host link module also features a transmission delay time setting that enables users to specify the amount of time that passes before retrying interrupted transmissions. By offering a programmable feature to deal with transmission interruptions, the C200H-LK202 module has a high reliability rating. The C200H-LK202 unit smoothly integrates into the existing PLC infrastructure when it is installed, and it can be mounted on the CPU rack or expansion rack in the system. The C200H-LK202 host link unit comes with “run,” “send,” “receive,” and “error” indicators on its front panel. It supports a variety of switch-selectable band rats for different applications. The C200H-LK202 host link unit allows a computer to communicate with the PLC that hosts it.
