The Omron C200H-LK101-P host link module is an advanced link unit that was developed to offer improved data connection solutions in programmable controller systems. This unit ensures that data is transferred without any interruptions, which in turn improves the programmable controller system's overall efficiency and performance. The C200H-LK101-P unit gives the users a significant amount of freedom in the configuration of their controller systems. This host link unit can allow an industrial computer to host as many as 32 different PLC units in a system through the Host Link protocol. Its maximum cable length rating is 500 meters. It functions by utilizing a communication protocol known as the Host Link protocol and makes use of a fiber port for communication. It is important to note that the band rate of the C200H-LK101-P can range from 300 to 38,400 bps, and that this band rate is selectable through switches. The C200H-LK101-P host link unit can be installed in the CPU rack or in an expansion rack in a controller system. It is a special type of I/O module. The C200H-LK101-P host link module can communicate with a half-duplex method or with a full-duplex method. It supports even parity and odd parity. The C200H-LK101-P module can also support 1 or 2 stop bits when it operates. If the transmission of a signal for the C200H-LK101-P module is interrupted, it can retry the transmission process for that signal. This retry feature includes a programmable delay time setting. The C200H-LK101-P host link module’s transmission delay time setting can be programmed to anywhere from 0 to 510 ms.
