The Omron C200H-AD003 input module features 8 input channels. It is a Bulletin C200H series Omron I/O module, and it is compatible with a variety of Omron Bulletin C200 series PCs. The C200H-AD003 module operates by receiving analog sensor output, converting that sensor output into a digital format, and transmitting it to a compatible C200 series PCs. Compatible C200 series PCs include C200H PCs, C200HS PCs, C200HX PCs, C200HG PCs, and C200HE PCs. The C200H-AD003 module supports a variety of input signal ranges for its input channels. All 8 of the C200H-AD003 module’s input channels can operate at 4 to 20 milliamps of current or at -10 to 10 Volts, 0 to 10 Volts, or 1 to 5 Volts of voltage, and all 8 channels can be set or configured individually. The general specifications of the C200H-AD003 input module are the same as those of the PCs that it is compatible with. The maximum input signals that the C200H-AD003 module can tolerate are +/-15 Volts for voltage input and +/-30 milliamps for current input. Attempting to operate the C200H-AD003 module at input signals higher than the maximum signal ratings will damage the module. The C200H-AD003 input module supports about 1 millisecond of conversion time per point. Its maximum rated weight is 450 g. The C200H-AD003 input module can support external connectors with a 28-point terminal block that has M3 screws. Its maximum power consumption rating is 100 milliamps at both 5V DC and 26V DC. The C200H-AD003 input module supports photocoupler isolation between the input terminals and the PC, but not between the individual input signals.
