The Mitsubishi MR-MG30 option unit is a Profibus-DP option unit designed for use with Mitsubishi programmable controllers (PLCs). It offers reliable and efficient performance in different kinds of industrial automation applications. The MR-MG30 Profibus-DP unit supports the Profibus-DP network, and it supports seamless integration into a programmable controller system. It uses the Profibus-DP network to control the axes of Mitsubishi servo amplifier devices. The MR-MG30 Profibus-DP unit is able to control as many as 6 servo amplifier axes in a system. This unit can be used and stored safely within wide temperature ranges, but it should not be exposed to freezing conditions or to large amounts of condensation. The MR-MG30 Profibus-DP unit has an open enclosure that allows it to dissipate heat and cool itself as it operates, but it is not waterproof or designed to protect itself from debris or corrosive chemicals. To ensure that the MR-MG30 Profibus-DP unit and the servo amplifiers that it controls operate safely and reliably, this unit should only be used indoors in environments that are clean and that do not contain corrosive or flammable gasses. This unit also should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The MR-MG30 Profibus-DP unit uses a DC power supply and its power supply voltage rating is 24V DC with a permissible fluctuation rating of +/-10%. Its rated power supply capacity is 10 W. The MR-MG30 Profibus-DP unit is compatible with SSCNET II types of Mitsubishi servo amplifiers. Its mass is approximately 1.1 pounds. The MR-MG30 Profibus-DP unit has a connector for a power supply and a connector for digital I/O signals.
