The Mitsubishi HR-KR23 is a servo motor that is part of the 200 Volts AC voltage class. Its nominal operating speed is 3000 RPM and its maximum operating speed is 6000 RPM. The nominal and maximum torque ratings of the motor are 0.64 Nm and 2.2 Nm, respectively. The power output capacity of the HR-KR23 motor is 200 Watts. Other motor features include a straight shaft, an absolute/incremental encoder, and an IP65-rated housing. The power rate at the continuous rated torque is 18.3 kilowatts per second. The nominal and maximum current ratings of the HR-KR23 servo motor are 1.3 Amps and 4.6 Amps, respectively. The recommended load to motor inertia ratio is 26 times or less. There is no holding brake, oil seal, or thermistor on the motor. The housing is designed for natural cooling. The temperature range for operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Mechanical specifications of the HR-KR23 servo motor include 0.91 kilograms of weight and dimensions of 60 x 77.1 x 76.6 millimeters. Mitsubishi recommends using 600 Volts heat-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulated wire with a 0.75 mm2 (AWG 18) cross-section. The reduction ratios and actual reduction ratios of the geared servo motor when used with general industrial machines are 1/5 and 19/96. At a 1/5 reduction ratio, the permissible radial load is 330 N and the permissible thrust load is 350 N. At a 1/12 reduction ratio, the permissible radial load is 710 N and the permissible thrust load is 720 N. At a 1/20 reduction ratio, the permissible radial load is 780 N and the permissible thrust load is 780 N.
