The MR-J4-500A is an Input Module designed for industrial automation. It is part of the MELSERVO-J4 product series designed and manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric. It offers exceptional performance and flexibility with a motor-rated output of 5 kW (500W) and a command interface supporting general-purpose functions. This module's required operating voltage class is 200 Volts. And the maximum current consumption of this module is 28.0 Amps. The module also features a secure terminal row connection mode that provides reliable connectivity and easy installation. One of the advantages users can experience with this module is its compatibility with both phase 1 and 3 power sources. This module's allowable voltage fluctuation ranges range from 170 V to 264 V (AC), with a frequency fluctuation tolerance of ±5%. In addition to that, this module can apply advanced control methods, including sinusoidal wave PWM control and a current control system. The MR-J4-500A offers various positioning and speed control modes. Also, it supports encoder output pulse correspondence, analog monitoring, and position feedback pulse resolution of 22 (bit) for accurate and reliable control. Furthermore, the MR-J4-500A has many protective functions, such as over-current cut-off, regenerative overvoltage shut-off, and servo motor overheating protection. It also includes safety features like STO (Safe Torque Off). Aside from that, the unit is suitable for operating in a temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C and a humidity level of 90% RH or less. Its compact and sturdy structure, with a mass of 4.0 kg, allows for easy integration and maintenance.
