Mitsubishi's MR-J2S-20B1 is a Servo Amplifier for the motors. It is built to provide excellent performance and usefulness to its compatible motor models. It interfaces with a servo system controller or comparable device via a serial bus connection (SSCNET), enabling the amplifier to read position data directly for accurate operation. The servo motor's speed and rotation direction may be accurately controlled using information from a command unit, providing precise and fluid placement. A clamp circuit sets a torque limit on the servo amplifier to prevent overcurrent caused by unexpected acceleration, deceleration, or overload, protecting the power transistor in the primary circuit. The MR-J2S-20B1 also has RS-232C serial connection capabilities, making it easier to change parameters, run tests, and check the status display. This servo amplifier provides precise control over motor operations using a sine-wave Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control system and a current control system with an allowed frequency variation of less than 5%. It has protective features like overload shut-off (electronic thermal relay), overcurrent shut-off, regenerative overvoltage shut-off, overload shut-off, undervoltage, instantaneous power failure protection, overspeed protection, and excessive error protection. It also has encoder fault protection, regenerative fault protection, servo motor overheat protection, and regenerative fault shut-off. The MR-J2S-20B1 is a versatile and dependable option for various industrial applications because it has a self-cooled, open (IP00) structure, operates in the non-freezing temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius, and has a storage temperature range of 20 to 65 degrees Celsius.
