Mitsubishi Electric manufactured MR-J2S-20A is an AC servo amplifier a part of the MELSERVO J2 super ranges product line; the MELSERVO-J2-Super series is an upgraded version of Mitsubishi's previous general-purpose AC servo, the MELSERVO-J2. It is a three-phase alternating current servo drive that operates alternating current motors in factory-wide industrial automation plants. It runs on alternating current voltages ranging from 200 to 230 volts at frequencies ranging from 50 to 60 hertz. Furthermore, the single-phase power supply range for this device is 230 volts AC at 50/60 hertz. The MR-J2S-20A has a power rating of 200 watts (0.2 kilowatts). The standard frequency response rate of this device is 550 hertz. Furthermore, when utilizing an open collector, its maximum input pulse frequency is 200 k,pps, and 500 kpps when using a differential receiver. This servo amplifier is compatible with the HC-SFS1524 and HC-SFS2024 motors. The MR-J2S-20A, like the majority of the MELSERVO J2 Super series devices, has a dynamic braking capability, a fan-operated cooling system, and an open-type enclosure. It can also be controlled by a sine wave pulse width modulation (PWM) system. To achieve the best motor performance, PWM encodes voltages into a specific frequency carrier. Furthermore, it can operate using the current control system. The amplifier has several safety features to make sure it works safely and keeps the servo motor and the amplifier from getting damaged. These include safety from excessive/over-current, over-voltage, and overheating. These safeguards monitor, optimize, and control power supply and their sudden changes.
