The MR-J2-10B AC servo amplifier was developed by Mitsubishi Electric, and it is an advanced and efficient device suitable for controlling servo motors in various industrial applications. This servo amplifier can operate with a single-phase AC voltage rating of 230V AC and 50/60 Hertz of frequency. It can also operate with a 3-phase AC voltage rating of 200-230V AC and 50/60 Hertz of frequency. To ensure smooth communication within the servo system, the MR-J2-10B uses a SSCNET serial bus. This SSCNET serial bus facilitates seamless interaction between the servo amplifier and other components of the system, such as a servo system controller. It supports an output power rating of 0.1 kW. Additionally, it supports speed loop frequency response of up to 550 Hz for fast and accurate control of the connected servo motor. The MR-J2-10B servo amplifier’s control system options are a current control system and sine-wave PWM control system. This servo amplifier also includes a dynamic brake. The enclosure of the MR-J2-10B servo amplifier is an open enclosure. This enclosure has an IP00 ingress protection rating and it supports a self-cooling option. The MR-J2-10B servo amplifier must be used in a non-hazardous indoor environment because its open enclosure cannot protect it from debris or liquids. The MR-J2-10B servo amplifier comes with a variety of protective functions, such as an encoder fault protection function, a servo motor overheating protection function, and an instantaneous power failure protection function. Its maximum vibration rating is 19.4 ft/s squared, and its maximum operating temperature rating is 131 degrees Fahrenheit.
