The Mitsubishi MR-J4-100B is a high-performance servo amplifier that was developed specifically to meet the requirements of both standard and difficult servo motor motion control applications. Its output capacity is typically 1 kW, and it can peak at 1.1 kW. The MR-J4-100B servo amplifier uses a 3-phase power supply and it operates at 200-230 Volts AC. The MR-J4-100B is distinguished by its extensive range of control options for controlling a servo motor’s speed or torque. It is compatible with certain types of direct drive motor models and certain types of rotary servo motors. The MR-J4-100B servo amplifier comes with a 3-digit and 7-segment type of LED display. This display can show the users the status of the MR-J4-100B servo amplifier, and it can show alarm numbers when alarms have been triggered. The MR-J4-100B servo amplifier amplifies the signals that it receives from other devices before applying them to the connected motor. This ensures that the connected motor receives signals with the correct ratings so that it can operate properly. If a signal is too weak and if that signal is not amplified by the MR-J4-100B servo amplifier, the connected motor will not be able to use it and it may cause errors. The MR-J4-100B servo amplifier has a switch that can be used to set the number of axes that it will control. This device has other switches as well, including a test switch and switches for deactivating the control axis and setting the auxiliary axis number for the servo amplifier. The MR-J4-100B servo amplifier can connect to a servo motor encoder if the motor has an encoder.
