The MR-J3-100B servo amplifier is an AC servo amplifier from the MELSERVO-J3 series that was manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric. It is designed to control servo motors and offers high-performance motion control for servo motors in various industrial applications. With an output power rating of 1 kW, it is capable of delivering precise and efficient motion control in demanding environments. The MR-J3-100B servo amplifier utilizes a SSCNET III interface which enables fast and accurate communication between the servo amplifier and other devices, including other servo amplifiers, ensuring smooth and synchronized motion control. The MR-J3-100B is specifically designed to operate with a three-phase AC power supply, and its voltage rating is 200 to 230 Volts AC. It features a built-in regenerative resistor with a regenerative power rating of 20 W. This resistor helps dissipate excess energy that is generated during the deceleration or braking of the servo motor, thereby preventing damage to the system. The MR-J3-100B servo amplifier has an inverse efficiency rating of 80%, meaning that it converts 80% of the input power into usable output power. Furthermore, the MR-J3-100B servo amplifier has a discharge time of 5 minutes, which is the amount of time required for the regenerative resistor to discharge the excess energy completely.
