The Mitsubishi MR-J2S-350A is a powerful IPM motor with a rated output of 0.4kW and is suitable for the HA-ME motor series. It operates at a voltage of single-phase AC100V and offers improved low-speed control stability. The motor has an excellent form factor, making it easy to control and maintain. Similarly, it is suitable for use in industrial locations with limited space. Aside from its form factor, the motor is designed for high-precision servo control, even in harsh environments, thanks to splicing technology and a rotary encoder with a resolution of 224 in the servo motor. However, following the manufacturer's guidelines about its ambient air temperature for storage and operation is important to maintain optimal performance. The encoder uses a serial communication system with a communication frequency limited to 10M. In addition to the IPM motor, the MR-J2S-350A system includes a 110kW power supply, a voltage 200V, and a sine wave filter. The sine wave filter ensures the motor receives a smooth sine wave for improved performance and reduced noise. The motor is IP65-rated, protecting against dust and water ingress. It is a direct-type motor with a high bending life and a non-shielded cable. It is suitable for use with the HF-KP/HF-MP series motor with side extraction. The MR-J2S-350A system includes a 1-axis servo amplifier from the MELSERVO-J4 series. With a rated output of 0.6kW, the amplifier supports the SSCNET III/H interface and operates on a three-phase 400 VAC power supply. It enables complete synchronization through high-speed serial optical communication and supports the seismic algorithm for suppressing low-frequency vibrations.
