The Mitsubishi HC-SFS53 servo motor is a medium-inertia and medium-capacity servo motor that was built to operate efficiently in a range of industrial applications. This motor operates with an output power rating of 0.5 kW. Its operating speed ratings include 3000 rpm of rated speed in a standard application, 3000 rpm of maximum speed in special applications, and 3450 rpm of rated instantaneous permissible speed in special applications. The HC-SFS53 servo motor does not have an electromagnetic brake. Simple system integration is made possible by the HC-SFS53 motor's conventional straight shaft end. Its shaft does not include a keyway or a key. The HC-SFS53 motor has a totally-enclosed structure with an IP65 ingress protection rating. The HC-SFS53 servo motor is designed to be used in a number of situations, including robotics, X-Y work platforms, and transmission machine applications. It has an absolute and incremental high-resolution encoder, which offers high levels of performance and stability, especially at low speeds. The encoder’s resolution is 131072 pulses per revolution (17-bit resolution). The HC-SFS53 servo motor is suitable for operation with three-phase, 200V AC power supplies. When it is installed, the HC-SFS53 servo motor is controlled by a compatible servo amplifier. It is compatible with servo amplifiers from the Mitsubishi MELSERVO-J2 super series. The servo amplifier will control the speed, position, and torque of the HC-SFS53 servo motor during operation. The HC-SFS53 servo motor supports a rated torque value of 1.5 Nm and a maximum torque value of 4.77 Nm. It supports an oil seal for protection from oil, and it has Class F insulation.
