The Mitsubishi HC-SF102 motor is a MELERVO series high-performance type of servo motor that was designed for medium-inertia applications. It utilizes a serial absolute/incremental encoder, and its rated output power is 1.0 kW and its rated operating speed is 2000 rpm. This servo motor is equipped with a straight shaft. It does not have an electromagnetic brake. The AC servo motor rotor is commonly made with a squirrel cage structure to ensure a wide range of speed regulation, linear mechanical properties, and rapid response. The HC-SF102 servo motor stands out from ordinary motors due to its optimized rotor resistance and its inertia characteristics. The HC-SF102 servo motor is compatible with the MITSUBISHI AC servo amplifiers from the MELSERVO-J4 series that support two-axis control. The A-axis and B-axis each have a rated output of 1.0 kW. The HC-SF102 interfaces with the SSCNET III/H communication protocol, enabling seamless integration and efficient communication in a system. The HC-SF102 servo motor also offers energy-saving features, a compact design, and a simplified wiring setup. It upholds the high performance and reliability that MELSERVO products are known for. It has an standard protection rating of IP65. This protection rating guarantees that the HC-SF102 servo motor is protected from significant amounts of debris, dust, and non-corrosive liquids. If necessary, the servo motor’s protection rating can be increased to IP67 to provide it with an even higher level of resistance to dust, debris, and liquids. The HC-SF102 servo motor operates on 3-phase AC input voltage, and its input voltage rating is 123 Volts.
