The HC-MFS43B is an industrial servo motor. It is manufactured by Mitsubishi and belongs to the MELSERVO J2S product line. The protection rating of the motor housing is IP55, and this rating indicates that the HC-MFS43B servo motor has limited protection from dust and from small amounts of water. The HC-MFS43B motor performs reliably at all of its specifications as long as the ambient temperature is within a range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The nominal rated motor torque is 1.3 Nm and the maximum torque rating is 3.8 Nm. The normal speed rating of the HC-MFS43B motor is 3000 RPM and the maximum speed rating is 4500 RPM. Mitsubishi has designed the HC-MFS43B servo motor for flange mounting. The size of the motor flange is 60 millimeters. The input voltage rating of the AC servo motor is 200 Volts AC and the output current rating is 2.8 Amps. The output power rating is 400 Watts. Other motor features include an integrated encoder for feedback that has a 17-bit resolution. The HC-MFS43B servo motor is also equipped with an integrated electromagnetic brake. The purpose of this brake is to prevent accidents by preventing unintentional motor shaft rotation. The brake is activated by an electromagnetic signal, and it is designed to release the shaft after receiving an electromagnetic signal. The servo motor has a straight shaft. The ambient temperature for motor storage is -15 to 70 degrees Celsius. The HC-MFS43B servo motor is a small-capacity and low-inertia type of servo motor.
