The Mitsubishi QD75MH1 module is a positioning module designed for precise servo motor position control applications. It is part of the Mitsubishi MELSEC-Q series of programmable controller components. The QD75MH1 positioning module can be easily integrated into existing MELSEC-Q PCs or programmable controller systems thanks to its compact design. It is connected to a servo motor through a servo amplifier, and it is also connected to the programmable controller’s CPU and external devices such as a pulse generator. The QD75MH1 positioning module is designed to store a variety of parameters and data that are provided to it by the CPU, pulse generator, and external signal devices. It can output positioning commands and control commands to the connected servo amplifier, and the servo amplifier can transfer these commands to the connected servo motor. The servo motor and any equipment powered by the servo motor use the commands from the QD75MH1 positioning module and servo amplifier to carry out an application. The QD75MH1 positioning module supports 1 control axis, and several control system options. Its control system options include a PTP or point to point control option, path control option, speed control option, speed-position switching control option, and a position-speed switching control option. The path control option includes a linear option and an arc option that can be set by the users. The QD75MH1 positioning module can also support different control units, including millimeters, inches, degrees, and PLS. It can support automatic trapezoidal acceleration and deceleration as well as S-pattern acceleration and deceleration. The QD75MH1 positioning module supports its external wiring connections with a 40-pin connector and it occupies 32 I/O points.
