The MDS-B-SVJ2-20 drive is a Mitsubishi servo drive unit that was designed to control the servo motor in a programmable controller system. The MDS-B-SVJ2-20 servo drive is also an amplifier device because it can amplify signals if the signals are too weak to be used by the connected servo motor. This servo drive unit provides precise and efficient motion control to the servo motor. The MDS-B-SVJ2-20 servo drive can support a high level of servo gain, and it is designed to operate with minimal lag times in each control loop in order to suppress mechanical resonances. The MDS-B-SVJ2-20 servo drive unit operates at a 3-phase input voltage rating of 200 to 230 Volts AC with 50/60 Hz of frequency, and it also operates with a power board current rating of 12.6A and a control board current rating of 0.3A. Its rated output current is 14A, and this allows it to drive or control high-performance servo motors. The MDS-B-SVJ2-20 servo drive unit has overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection features which protect it and connected equipment from damage. This drive is compatible with optional fuses for additional protection. Its compact and modular design allows it to be easily integrated into existing automation systems. It supports various communication interfaces, such as RS-485 and CC-Link, and this enables seamless connectivity with other devices. The MDS-B-SVJ2-20 servo drive unit also offers extensive parameterization options that support precise tuning and optimization of the control parameters to suit specific application requirements. It comes with a grounding terminal for connecting to a grounding wire and it has screw holes for installation.
