The Mitsubishi GT1555-QSBD graphics operation terminal is a display terminal designed for industrial use. The backlight on the terminal is a cold cathode fluorescent tube backlight. The backlight is not replaceable. The GT1555-QSBD terminal supports a backlight shutoff detection function. Operators can use the “set backlight off/screen saving time” feature to extend the operating lifespan of the backlight. The service life of the backlight is 75,000 hours at 25 degrees Celsius. The display supports touch technology which is based on matrix resistive film. The number of touch keys is 300 objects/screen with a matrix structure of 15 lines x 20 columns. The minimum key size is 16 x 16 dots per key. A maximum of 2 objects can be touched simultaneously on the screen. The operating life of the touchscreen is 1 million times or more as long as the maximum operating force does not exceed 0.98N. The display technology is STN color liquid crystal technology. The display has a resolution of 320 x 240 dots and it is 5.7 inches wide. The number of available display colors is 4096. The display supports 16-level contrast adjustment. The operating life of the display is about 50,000 hours at 25 degrees Celsius. The terminal comes with 9 MB of flash memory that supports 100,000 write operations. A battery provides backup for the clock data and maintenance time data and it provides about 5 years of service life. One RS-232 serial interface enables communication with a controller or computer. This interface supports 4800 to 115,200 bps transmission rates. One USB interface on the GT1555-QSBD terminal enables communication with a computer and supports a 12 Mbps data rate. A compact flash card slot can be used for data storage or data transfer. The weight and dimensions of the GT1555-QSBD terminal are 1.1 kilograms and 167 x 135 x 56 millimeters, respectively.
