The GT15ABUS is a bus connection controller from the GOT1000 product series. This controller has been designed and manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric for industrial use. Its primary function is to help industrial automation systems talk to and work with things like the Graphical Operation Terminal. To guarantee compatibility with the designated communication unit and memory card adapter, such as the GT05-MEM-ADPC for transforming CompactFlash (CF) cards into memory cards, the GT15ABUS must have hardware version C or later. A/QnACPU/motion controller CPU connection connectors are included, with one IN side connector for the base model and two IN and OUT side connectors for the intermediate and advanced GOT models. Besides that, this controller can use communication connectors for interfacing with external devices over an industrial network. For example, the RS-232 connector on the GOT can be swapped out with an RS-422 converter unit, allowing the GT15ABUS to communicate with devices that use that standard. The GT15-PRN printer unit adds printing support, the GT15-DIO and GT15-DIOR external I/O units allow you to connect to external I/O devices or operation panels, and the GT15-SOUT sound output unit allows you to connect to external speakers. The GT15-BAT battery acts as a backup, protecting the time and date as well as any scheduled maintenance times. Finally, the GT15ABUS is compatible with 65536-color display boards like the GT15-XHNB for XGA and SVGA/VGA monitors. By connecting the GOT to other parts of industrial automation systems, the GT15ABUS plays a crucial role as a communication and integration hub.
