The Mitsubishi Electric GT1040-QBBD graphic operation terminal is a part of the GOT 1000 series. It is a high-performance human-machine interface (HMI) for controller systems. It is designed to operate safely in certain kinds of harsh industrial environments because it has an ingress protection rating of IP67 in the front. The back of the device has an IP20 ingress protection rating. The monochrome display has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and it is 4.7 inches wide. The display uses STN (Super-Twisted Nematic) technology for enhanced visibility. The GT1040-QBBD terminal features a touchscreen that can support a digital keyboard with up to 50 keys on the screen. The landscape aspect of the screen provides a wider viewing area. The GT1040-QBBD terminal includes internal memory for storing data. It uses a 24 VDC power supply. The GT1040-QBBD has a powerful 64-bit RISC processor, ensuring fast and efficient performance. The terminal has a lightweight construction, and it weighs only 0.45 kg, excluding all mounting fixtures. It is also compact, and its dimensions are 112 mm in height, 139 mm in width, and 41 mm in depth. Additionally, the GT1040-QBBD supports multiple languages with Unicode 2.1. This terminal can connect to a PLC through its RS-422 and RS-232 ports. The GT1040-QBBD terminal has a built-in fuse that is not exchangeable, and this fuse is rated at 1 Amp. Its maximum power consumption rating is 3.6 Watts or 150 mA at 24 Volts DC. The GT1040-QBBD graphic operation terminal supports 16 scales on its monochrome display screen.
