The FX3U-64MR/ES main unit is a programmable controller or PLC unit from the FX Series which is manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric. This main unit includes a power supply, a CPU, a memory unit, and several I/O. The FX3U-64MR/ES main unit provides a total of 64 I/O points, with 32 DC input points and 32 relay output points. The relay outputs use relays to control external devices. The FX3U-64MR/ES module operates at a supply voltage range of 100 to 240V AC, and with an allowable voltage range of 85 to 264V AC. The rated frequency for operation is 50/60 Hz. The power fuse for the FX3U-64MR/ES main unit is rated at 250V and 5A, and provides protection against overcurrent. The rush current, which is the initial surge of current during power-up, is rated at 30A maximum for 100V AC and 65A maximum for 200V AC, and it lasts for 5 ms or less. The module consumes 45W of power during operation and includes a built-in 5V DC power supply with a maximum output current rating of 500mA. The FX3U-64MR/ES main unit features screw terminal connectors which provide a reliable and secure connection for wiring.
