Mitsubishi Electric designed and developed the FX2N-16EYT-ESS-UL, a modular extension unit type DC output unit for the FX2N PLC series with 16 inputs and 16 outputs. The module is intended for use with PLCs from the FX2N family, which are widely used in industrial automation and control systems such as machine control, process automation, building automation, security systems, medical equipment, and transportation systems. It is a transistor output device with source output-based logical features. The output voltage range is 5-30 volts DC, and the current draw is 500 milliamperes (mA), allowing it to power a variety of low-power industrial loads. This FX2N-16EYT-ESS-UL output module acts as a barrier between the output channels and the controller's internal circuitry.
