The FX-8ER-ES-UL Terminal Block is a remote terminal block. It has been designed and manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric. This device is mainly used to facilitate the installation of I/O boards close to the control unit. In order to link the FX PLC main units together, connector-type I/O cabling is utilized, and this terminal block is a necessary component. Additionally, the FX-8ER-ES-UL is certified as safe by both the United States Underwriters Laboratory and Canada's C.U.L. Aside from its (CUL) certification, it supports sink transistors as the output type and provides up to 8 integrated outputs. This terminal block can handle up to 30 Volt DC of switching voltage. There is a maximum output current of 0.5 amperes per output, with a total of 0.8 Amps supported across all 4 outputs. 150 mm in width, 55 mm in height, and 45 mm in depth best describe the terminal block. The FX-8ER-ES-UL is suitable for use with PLCs from the FX series. In addition, Mitsubishi provides a wide selection of remote mount terminal blocks, including 16 and 32-point passive blocks for Sink/Source input or Source Transistor output, 16-point 110VAC input blocks, 16-point relay output blocks, 16-point source transistor output blocks with a capacity of 0.5A, 16 point sink transistor output blocks with a capacity of 0.5A, and 16 point triac output blocks with a capacity of 0.5A. The FX-8ER-ES-UL Terminal Block is a dependable and versatile option for connecting I/O modules to Mitsubishi PLCs, allowing for more precise control and monitoring of industrial operations.
