Mitsubishi Electric's FR-A8NC CC-Link Communications inverter board is a plug-in type of inverter board. Its main purpose is to support communication between Mitsubishi control system devices in the FR series. In particular, the FR-A8NC board supports a CC-Link communications option, allowing for trouble-free connectivity and information sharing within a CC-Link network. The FR-A8NC board is designed to be compatible with a CC-Link Ver. 2 CC Link option. It needs to be used with a master station device that is also compatible with a CC-Link Ver. 2 CC Link option. The FR-A8NC board can function as the end station device in a system. It needs a 1-touch connector plug that has a terminating resistor to be connected to its CC-Link Communications connector when it operates. Several inverters at a time can be used in the same system as the FR-A8NC inverter board. The FR-A8NC board supports several parameters that can be set by the system users according to the needs of an application. It can be connected to up to 42 units in a system. The FR-A8NC board’s power is supplied by the inverter. The FR-A8NC inverter board supports torque commands, torque limits, and remote register options. It has status LEDs that can indicate system errors. These LEDs make it easy to diagnose errors in the system and to correct them as quickly as possible. The weight of the FR-A8NC inverter board is 1.36 pounds. This inverter board can be mounted with screws and it can be connected to an earth plate as well.
