Mitsubishi Electric's FR-A540-15K-NA Inverter Drive is an effective and flexible motor drive. This AC drive is versatile due to its 15 kW motor capacity, 23.6 kVA for CT (20 HP), and 25.9 kVA for VT (25 HP) rated capacity. The continuous current rating for CT is 31 amperes, and the continuous current rating for VT is 34 amperes. This device runs on three-phase voltage between 380 volts and 480 volts at 50Hz/60Hz. With its inverse-time characteristics overload protection, the FR-A540-15K-NA may safely operate at 150% of its rated capacity for 60 seconds during CT operation and at 120% during VT operation. It is safe to use the AC drive's regenerative braking torque constantly up to a maximum of 20%. It maintains consistent performance even in harsh power supply situations since it can tolerate AC voltage fluctuations between 323 volts and 528 volts and frequency fluctuations within 5%. The drive uses a forced air cooling system and an enclosed type protective construction (IP20 NEMA1) for effective heat dissipation. The FR-A540-15K-NA, like the other models in the A500 series, combines a keypad interface for simple control and advanced technological capabilities, including Advanced Magnetic Flux Vector Control and standard RS-485 communication. In addition to meeting all relevant regulations, it is equipped with configuration software and UL/cUL Listed/CE Approved for safety. This inverter drive is a great option for regulating motors in a wide range of industrial settings.
