The AY10 module is a digital output unit that has been designed and manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric. It is specifically engineered for industrial automation applications in MELSEC-A series programmable controller systems. The AY10 output module comes with 16 digital outputs, and all of the outputs are equipped with relay normally open (NO) contacts. This output module has 2 common terminals that are known as the TB9 terminal and the TB18 terminal, and each of these common terminals supports 8 outputs. The AY10 output module’s insulation option is a photocoupler insulation option. The maximum switching frequency rating of the AY10 output module is 3600 times per hour. Its response time ratings include 10 ms or less for switching OFF to ON and 12 ms or less for switching ON to OFF. The AY10 output module has a minimum switching load rating of 1 mA with 5V DC, and it has a maximum switching voltage rating of 264V AC or 125V DC. Its front panel dimensions are 250 mm height by 37. 55 mm width, and it weighs about 0.44 kg. The AY10 output module has a rated mechanical lifespan of 20 million times or more. This module is designed to be installed in a control panel within a MELSEC-A series programmable controller system. The AY10 output module supports LED indicators for each of its output points. Its ambient storage temperature rating is -20 to 75 degrees Celsius and its ambient operating temperature rating is 0 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Its ambient relative humidity rating is 10 to 90% non-condensing in storage and in operation.
