The AX41-S1 module is a DC input module manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric. It is designed to be used with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control digital signals from external devices. The AX41-S1 module provides 32 input points, allowing for the connection of 32 digital signals from external devices. The inputs are DC sink loading inputs, which means the AX41-S1 module is designed to work with devices that use a sinking (current-sourcing) input configuration. The module operates with input voltage ratings of 12 VDC or 24 VDC. Its operating voltage range is from 10.2 to 26.4 VDC. The AX41-S1 module utilizes photocoupler insulation. This helps to prevent electrical noise and interference from affecting the input signals. The input current for each point is 4 mA at 12 VDC or 10 mA at 24 VDC. The AX41-S1 input module operates with 9.5 VDC or higher ON voltage, 3 mA or high ON current, 6 VDC or lower OFF voltage, and 1.5 mA or lower OFF current. The AX41-S1 input module features an LED indicator for each input point, allowing the users to visually monitor the status of the inputs. It also utilizes a terminal block connection type, and its 38-point removable terminal block provides a secure and reliable connection option. The AX41-S1 module supports 8 input points per common terminal. This configuration allows for more efficient wiring and for the organization of the input signals. The AX41-S1 input module has an internal current consumption rating of 110 mA at 5 VDC when all of its input points are ON.
